COMEDY STORE LONDON - The 99 Club

"The 99 Club" is a set of popular London Comedy Clubs and claims to be "The Critic's Favourite" when it comes to showing live comedy at a friendly, comfortable environment. The 99 Club has been featured in Time Out on numerous occasions and also boasts of a list of commendable reviews and articles published in reputable newspapers like The Evening Standard, The London Lite, The Guardian, The Metro, The London Paper and The Daily Mirror. The club has also been featured on BBC2’s The Culture Show and on Radio 4's Loose Ends.

The 99 Club has shows lined up on all days of the week at different London venues including Leicester Square and Islington. While Leicester Square is the main venue and hosts shows on all seven days, Islington in North London organizes shows on Wednesdays and Saturdays only. Both venues are well connected and can be reached easily using public transport. The Leicester Square shows are held in Ku Bar and Storm Nightclub, both of which are just a walk away from Charing Cross and Embankment tube stations which are connected to many of the mainline stations such as Victoria, London Bridge, Waterloo, Liverpool Street and Euston. In Islington, the shows are organized at Camden Head and Bar Room Bar The Arc Bar which are only a short walk from Angel tube station and can be reached easily.

All venues provide great food and drinks for guests to enjoy a meal before the show begins or munch on something light while the show is on. All shows are generally 2 hours long and start at around 8 pm. There are no stag nights and under 18’s are not allowed and there is strict checking of valid photo ids at the entrance. Disabled guests are advised to call and inform before hand so that assistance can be arranged for them at the venue.

The 99 Club also provides comedians and artists for hire if someone wishes to have his/her own private comedy night out. The private show can be arranged either at any of The 99 Club venues or at a private place.
